Goals & Tasks

Turn company targets into daily work you can measure

Targets set at the top often get lost before they reach the people doing the work. Goals & Tasks links company, team and individual goals to the tasks and time behind them. Progress, turnaround and scores are recorded as the work happens.

How it works

5 steps, from start to finish

  1. Set the rules

HR chooses the goal frequencies, measurement types, approval rules, scoring scale and performance calendar the company works to.

  2. Agree the goals

Goals are set for a person, a team or the whole organisation, or proposed by employees, and go through approval where the company requires it.

  3. Break them down

A goal can be split by day, week, month or quarter, given milestones, or shared out among a team.

  4. Do and log work

People work through tasks linked to their goals and log their time with a timer or by hand.

  5. Review and score

Owners add their own view, reviewers score each goal, and owners acknowledge the result.

What it does best

Built for the way HR really works

Many ways to measure

Measure goals by quantity, percentage, money, done or not done, turnaround time, rating or completed tasks.

Fair splits over time

Split a target by working days, working hours, equally or by hand, so weekends and public holidays get no share.

Turnaround targets

SLA policies set how quickly work should be done, warn owners when a task is close to its limit, and tell them and whoever assigned it when it goes over.

Recurring tasks and dependencies

Repeating tasks appear on the owner's list automatically, and a task can wait until the work it depends on is finished.

Full history

Every change to a goal or task is recorded with who made it and what it was before.

Analytics by reach

See completion rates, scores, overdue goals and SLA compliance for yourself, your team, your units or the whole organisation, compared with the previous period.
