Module

Training

Plan, run and account for every training programme

Training is hard to manage when needs, sessions, attendance and spend are tracked in different places. The Training module keeps them in one place, from the course catalogue and who must take each course to registers, certificates and budgets. Needs are raised from mandatory rules, appraisals, succession gaps, nominations and employee requests.

How it works

5 steps, from start to finish

  1. Build the catalogue

HR adds programmes with their delivery method, provider, hours, cost, certificate and any training bond, and sets rules for who must take them.

  2. Identify the needs

Needs are raised from mandatory rules, appraisal actions, succession gaps, manager nominations and employee requests.

  3. Schedule sessions

HR schedules sessions with dates, venue or meeting link, trainer, capacity and cost.

  4. Fill the places

Employees request places, managers nominate their people and HR assigns places, with approval and a waiting list where needed.

  5. Record and certify

Trainers take the register each day, and closing the session completes training, closes the need and issues any certificate.

What it does best

Built for the way HR really works

Mandatory training tracking

Rules by unit, job title, grade, employment type or everyone show who is up to date, who is due and who is overdue.

Certificate expiry

Holders and HR are warned before a certificate lapses, and the training is raised as a need again.

Training bonds

A leaver who has not served their bond is charged the amount owed against their final pay, and HR can waive it with a reason.

Budgets from real spend

Spend is calculated from places assigned and sessions held, and compared with each unit's budget for each planning period.

Evaluations

Attendees rate each session against the company's own questions.

Session reminders

Everyone with a place, and the trainer, gets a reminder the day before a session.
